Notice: Temporary Suspension of MFN Pow-Wow

Dear Community Members,

In light of the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to inform you that the MFN Pow-Wow events have been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of our community members.

The decision to put the pow-wow on hold has been made in accordance with public health guidelines and recommendations. We understand the significance of these cultural celebrations and the sense of community they foster, but the well-being of our community remains our top priority.

As of now, the MFN Pow-Wow events have not resumed, and we continue to monitor the evolving situation. We appreciate your understanding and patience during these unprecedented times.

Rest assured, we are actively exploring alternative ways to celebrate and connect with our cultural heritage while adhering to health and safety protocols. We will keep you informed of any developments and provide updates on the resumption of pow-wow events as soon as it becomes feasible and safe to do so.

We encourage everyone to stay connected through our digital platforms and community channels for any announcements, virtual gatherings, or initiatives that may be organized in the interim.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and ongoing support as we navigate these challenging circumstances together. The health and well-being of our community are paramount, and we look forward to the time when we can joyously come together once again to celebrate our vibrant cultural traditions.

Wishing you and your loved ones continued health and resilience.

Sincerely,

Mattagami FN Governance
