This year’s election marks a significant change, as the term for the Chief and Councillors will extend to four years, with the newly elected officials set to serve until October 9, 2027.
Details:
The chief and council elections for 2023 took place on 10/10/2023, with the subsequent election scheduled for 09 October 2027.
Eligibility to Vote:
1. Must Be a member of Mattagami First Nation; and
2. Must be eighteen (18) years of age and over.
